Open source - self-hosted platforms
Your own platforms, run properly.
Open-source software can replace per-seat subscriptions and keep your data on servers you control. We install it, secure it, update it and back it up, so it stays as dependable as the services it replaces.
Every platform we run gets
- ✓A server sized for the work it does
- ✓Snapshots and off-site backups
- ✓Updates tested before they go live
- ✓SSL, firewall and login protection
- ✓Monitoring that warns before users notice
- ✓Written notes on how it is set up
What we set up and run
Proven open-source platforms, installed on your cloud server and kept current, with the same care we give business systems.
Marketing automation
Email campaigns, landing pages and lead scoring without per-contact pricing, on a mail setup that reaches the inbox.
- Mautic
- Campaigns and segments
Files and documents
Shared files, calendars and in-browser document editing, as an alternative to Google Drive or Microsoft 365.
- Nextcloud
- OnlyOffice editing
Team passwords
A shared password vault your team can use from any browser or phone, with the data kept on your own server.
- Vaultwarden
- Bitwarden apps
Mail servers
Self-hosted email with spam filtering and webmail, and the DNS records that keep it out of the spam folder.
- SPF, DKIM, DMARC
- Spam and virus filtering
CMS and commerce
When WordPress or Shopify is not the right fit: content sites and online stores on other open-source platforms.
- Drupal, Magento
- CMS Made Simple
Custom scripting
The glue between systems: scheduled backups, data syncs, health checks and one-off migrations.
- Bash and Python
- Cron and container jobs
How we run them
Self-hosting is only cheaper if it stays up. This is what keeps it up.
Plan the fit
What it replaces, who uses it, and what it will really cost to run.
Size the server
Memory, storage and workers matched to the load, with room to grow.
Install cleanly
Containers or packages, configured from written notes, not guesswork.
Protect it
SSL, firewall rules, login protection and off-site backups from day one.
Keep it current
Updates applied after a snapshot, tested, and rolled back if they misbehave.
Watch it
Monitoring and logs reviewed, so problems are fixed before they spread.
Common questions
If yours is not here, ask. You will get a straight answer.
Is self-hosting cheaper than a subscription?
Often, especially as the number of users grows. We will compare the real running cost, server and care included, before you decide.
Who can see our data?
Your data stays on a server in your own cloud account. We only access it to maintain the platform.
Can you move us off a hosted service?
Yes. We plan the migration, move the data, and run both side by side until the new platform is proven.
What if you are not available?
You hold the accounts and the passwords, and every setup is written down, so another engineer can pick it up.
If it runs on a server, has an API or keeps data in a database, we can build it, host it or connect it, and we'll tell you plainly if something else would serve you better.
